You say no nutritional value, but from an evolutionary biology standpoint, having a shit ton of calories is the most important factor nutritionally. Not the most healthy or well rounded meal, but not starving is the first goal, and so we are programmed to chow down on starchy and sugary foods when we can get them.

I’m surprised this collaboration took so long to develop. Though fusilli/ roti ni strikes me as a bit highbrow of a pasta choice for something like this. I’d have expected they’d go with something a little cruder in design.

That’s the problem isn’t it. This just isn’t an issue for most people these days, we have easy access to calories, so well balanced is more important that raw quantity. But our stupid bodies still want to give us dopamine for chowing down on all the starchy sugary crap.
